Karim is a young half-Spanish, half-Moroccan filmmaker raised in Madrid, Spain. In 2005, he completed his studies in A/V Production and has since dedicated himself to working as a PA and AD in a professional level, but he also develop his own projects, including music videos, adverts, documentaries, and short films. These projects were done in Madrid and London, England where he lived for three years.
Recently, he has graduated with a Degree in Communications. At the end of 2012, he obtained a scholarship to study part of his curriculum at the Film School of the Santa Fe University of Art & Design, in New Mexico (USA). While there, he took advantage of his surrounding resources, made some more personal productions and work in a feature film. Right now he lives, work and study in Albuquerque, NM. Where he decided to go back, to improve his skills and learn more about the Film and Television industry.
Karim es un joven medio español medio marroquí nacido y crecido en Madrid, España. En el año 2007 termino el Grado Superior de Formación Profesional en Producción Audiovisual y desde entonces se ha dedicado a trabajar como Ayudante de Dirección y de Producción para varias productoras pero también desarrollado proyectos propios y como ‘freelance’, que incluyen vídeos musicales, anuncios, documentales y cortometrajes. Realizados entre Madrid y Londres, donde vivió durante tres años.
Recientemente se ha graduado en Comunicación Audiovisual. A finales del 2012 recibió una beca para cursar parte de sus estudios en la Escuela de Cine de ‘Santa Fe University of Arts & Design’ en New Mexico, USA. Durante ese tiempo aprovechó los recursos que tenia a su alrededor para realizar más proyectos personales y trabajar en un largometraje.
Ahora mismo vive en Albuquerque, NM, Donde decidió volver para mejorar sus habilidades y aprender más sobre la industria del cine y la televisión.
